Topics
Ordering & payment
How do I order a server?
Pick a machine on the dedicated servers page, choose the billing cycle and options, then check out in our client area at my.aixscloud.com. Delivery starts as soon as the invoice is paid.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Any of the methods below. Every invoice is issued in USD.
- Credit / debit card
- PayPal
- Crypto (USDT, BTC, ETH and more)
- Bank transfer (USD)
Which currency do you bill in?
All prices on this site and every invoice are in USD. If you pay from an account in another currency, your bank or payment provider converts at its own rate.
Which billing cycles can I choose?
Plans are sold on the cycles below. Longer terms cost less per month, and the configurator shows the exact saving before you pay.
- Monthly
- Quarterly: save up to 3%
- 6 months: save up to 5%
- Annual: save up to 10%
Can I get a configuration that is not listed?
Often, yes. Built-to-order servers are assembled in 24–72 hours. Email sales@aixscloud.com with the CPU, memory, storage and location you need.
Delivery & access
How fast is a server delivered?
In-stock servers are ready within 2 hours of payment. Built-to-order servers take 24–72 hours. Every plan shows its delivery lane before you order.
Do I get IPMI or KVM access?
Yes. Servers come with out-of-band access (IPMI with a KVM console), so you can watch the boot, change BIOS settings or recover a broken install without waiting for us.
Which operating systems can I install?
These images are offered at checkout. Licensed systems are billed with the server as shown.
- Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
- Debian 13
- AlmaLinux 10
- Rocky Linux 10
- Proxmox VE 9
- No OS (IPMI only)
Can I reinstall the operating system myself?
Yes. Mount your own ISO through IPMI and install from it, or ask for a reinstall in a ticket. Choose "No OS (IPMI only)" at checkout if you want to start from a blank machine.
What happens if hardware fails?
Our remote hands replace the failed part. The target is 4 hours from diagnosis to replacement. Open a ticket with what you see in the logs or on the IPMI console.
Network & IPs
Can I test the network before I buy?
Yes. Every location publishes IPv4 and IPv6 test addresses you can ping, trace or mtr from your own network. Speed-test files and latency are on the network page.
- HKG Hong Kong:
203.0.113.10/2001:db8:10::1(placeholder until launch) - TYO Tokyo:
203.0.113.20/2001:db8:20::1(placeholder until launch) - SIN Singapore:
203.0.113.30/2001:db8:30::1(placeholder until launch) - LAX Los Angeles:
203.0.113.40/2001:db8:40::1(placeholder until launch)
Can I add more IPv4 addresses?
Yes, as an option when you order:
- 1 IPv4 (included)
- /29 subnet, 5 usable: +$15/mo
- /28 subnet, 13 usable: +$35/mo
Is port 25 (SMTP) open?
Outbound port 25 is closed by default and opened on request after a short review.
What port speed and traffic do I get?
Each plan lists its port and monthly traffic in the server table. Across the plans on sale today:
- Port speeds on sale: 1 Gbps
- Monthly traffic: 30 TB/mo to Unmetered
- 10 Gbps: +$99/mo
DDoS protection
Is DDoS protection included?
Yes, on every server at no extra cost. The always-on filtering covers L3/L4 attacks and starts mitigating known vectors within 10 seconds. Included capacity is 10–20 Gbps depending on the location. See DDoS protection.
What if an attack is bigger than the included capacity?
To protect the rest of the network, the attacked IP is null-routed for 30 minutes and you are notified by email and client-area notice. The server keeps running. If the attack is still going when the null-route lifts, it can be applied again.
Does the protection cover HTTP floods (L7)?
Not included. Run your own WAF or rate limits for HTTP floods.
Which attack types are filtered?
Network-level (L3/L4) vectors, including:
- UDP flood
- SYN flood
- ACK flood
- DNS amplification
- NTP amplification
- Memcached amplification
- SSDP amplification
- GRE flood
- ICMP flood
- Fragmented packets
Can I buy more protection?
Not yet. Paid protection tiers are not on sale at launch. If you expect attacks larger than the included capacity, talk to sales before you order.
Billing & refunds
Can I get a refund?
In-stock servers can be cancelled for a full refund within 3 days. Built-to-order servers are not refundable. Details are in the refund policy.
Are there setup fees?
Only built-to-order servers do: a one-time fee of $99, shown in the configurator before you pay. Instant-delivery servers have none. The fee is waived on annual terms.
How do renewals and cancellations work?
Services renew on the cycle you chose, and the renewal invoice appears in the client area before the due date. To stop a server, request cancellation in the client area before it renews.
What if the network goes down?
We target 99.9% monthly network availability. Below that you get a credit on the monthly fee, as set out in the SLA:
- 99.5% to below 99.9%: 10% credit
- 99% to below 99.5%: 25% credit
- Below 99%: 50% credit
Account & verification
Do I need to verify my identity?
No ID check by default. We may ask for verification if an order is flagged by fraud screening.
Can I order on behalf of a company?
Yes. Add the company name and tax details to your client-area profile before you pay, and they appear on every invoice.
Abuse & acceptable use
What is not allowed on your servers?
Anything illegal, plus the uses below. The full rules are in the Acceptable Use Policy.
- Spam and bulk unsolicited email
- Malware, botnets and command-and-control servers
- Phishing and credential harvesting
- Child sexual abuse material (reported to authorities)
- Content that is illegal where it is hosted
- Unauthorised scanning, brute force and attacks on other networks
- Open proxies, open relays and open resolvers
- Anything that gets our IP ranges blocklisted
Is cryptocurrency mining allowed?
Yes, on dedicated servers. The hardware is not shared, so sustained CPU load affects no one else. The rest of the AUP still applies.
How do I report abuse coming from your network?
Email abuse@aixscloud.com with the source IP, timestamps with time zone, and evidence such as logs or full mail headers. One report per incident helps us act faster.
What happens if my server gets an abuse report?
We forward it to you in a ticket and ask you to fix the cause and reply. Serious or ongoing cases (active attacks, phishing, malware, CSAM) can be suspended immediately. The steps are in the AUP.
Nothing in the help center matches that yet. Ask us directly instead.
