Scope
#This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to every service AIXS_CLOUD provides and to everyone who uses them, including your own customers. It is part of the Terms of Service.
Prohibited uses
#You may not use our services, or let them be used, for:
- Spam: sending unsolicited bulk email or messages, or hosting sites advertised that way. Outbound port 25 is closed by default and opened on request after a short review.
- Malware: hosting, distributing or controlling malware, ransomware, botnets or command-and-control (C2) infrastructure.
- Phishing and fraud: impersonating other organisations, harvesting credentials or payment data, or running scam sites.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): zero tolerance. We terminate immediately and report to the relevant authorities.
- Illegal content: content or activity that is illegal where the server is located, including infringement of intellectual property.
- Attacks and unauthorised scanning: denial-of-service attacks, brute-force attempts, exploitation or port scanning of systems you do not own or have no written permission to test.
- Open services: open proxies, open mail relays or open DNS resolvers that third parties can abuse.
- IP-reputation abuse: anything that gets our address ranges blocklisted, including snowshoe spam and rotating addresses to evade blocks.
Allowed, with care
#- Cryptocurrency mining is allowed on dedicated servers. The hardware is not shared with other customers.
- Security research and penetration testing are allowed against systems you own or have written permission to test. Keep that permission and show it to us if asked.
- Proxies and VPNs are allowed when access is authenticated and you deal with abuse that passes through them.
- Bulk email is allowed only to recipients who opted in, with a working unsubscribe link, and only after port 25 has been opened for your server.
DDoS attacks against you
#Every server includes always-on L3/L4 protection. Being attacked is not a violation of this policy. When an attack exceeds the included capacity, the attacked address is null-routed for 30 minutes and you are notified by email and client-area notice, to protect other customers.
How we handle abuse reports
#- A report reaches abuse@aixscloud.com, or our monitoring detects abuse. We check it against our own data.
- We forward it to you in a ticket and ask you to stop the activity and reply with what you did.
- You reply within the deadline in the notice. Active attacks, phishing and malware get a short deadline; one-off complaints a longer one.
- If the issue is not resolved by the deadline, or keeps coming back, we suspend the affected service until it is.
- For CSAM, attacks running from your server, or anything that puts our network at risk, we suspend first and contact you straight after.
To be confirmedThe exact deadline for each type of abuse will be added here before launch.
Repeated and serious violations
#Repeated violations, or a single serious one, can lead to termination of the affected services and of the account. We decide case by case and explain the decision in the ticket.
Reporting abuse
#Send reports to abuse@aixscloud.com. Please include:
- the IP address or hostname involved;
- date and time, with time zone;
- evidence: log lines, full email headers or URLs;
- how we can reach you if we need more detail.
We do not pass your contact details to our customer without your consent, unless the law requires it.
Law enforcement
#We respond to valid legal requests, preserve data when legally required, and may report illegal activity to the authorities.
